ABOUT
Michael Richards is a digital media creative based in Niagara Falls, New York, with a passion for telling stories through photography, videography, editing, and live event production. Currently studying Digital Media at Niagara County Community College, Michael has built a strong foundation in sports coverage, documentary editing, livestream production, and community-focused media work.
Michael currently works at A Grey Area Company as a photographer and videographer. He contributed to the 2026 Film Festival, with credits including She, The Mirror Doesn’t Forget, Beneath the Surface, and We Move Different, serving as Director of Photography on these projects. He also worked as the Lead Editor for the documentary When Nobody Is Watching.
Before joining A Grey Area Company, Michael spent several years contributing to media and event production at Niagara Falls High School, where he supported the Firefighter’s Christmas Toy Fund Telethon, yearbook creation, Unified Sports coverage, theatre management, livestreams, photography projects, and community outreach efforts.
In his spare time, Michael continues to stay close to sports, storytelling, and creative projects—though like any true media professional, he’d probably prefer being behind the camera to writing about himself in the third person.
